Cherryl Thomas

President and CEO

Cherryl worked for the City of Chicago for 30 years in the Departments of Public Works, Water, Aviation and Buildings, and as Deputy Chief of Staff for Infrastructure in the Mayor’s Office. Cherryl retired as Commissioner of Buildings for the City of Chicago to accept an appointment by President Clinton as Chairman of the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board. Upon completion of her term at the Railroad Retirement Board, Cherryl founded Ardmore Associates. More >>


L.R. (Dick) Unzelman

Senior Vice President

Dick has spent over 35 years representing federal and municipal agencies and managing the development and expansion of numerous airports around the world. He led the project management office for several expansion projects at O’Hare International Airport and most recently was the project director for the redevelopment of Chicago Midway International Airport.



Dennis Connolly

Executive Vice President

Dennis worked for the City of Chicago Departments of Public Works and Sewers for more than 30 years. He retired as the Acting Commissioner for the Department of Sewers. Dennis has held positions of Resident Engineer, Chief Engineer, First Deputy Commissioner and Acting Commissioner, and is licensed as a Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor in Wisconsin, Florida and Illinois.



Weston D. Parker, P.E.

Vice President of Infrastructure Operations

Weston has over 20 years of experience and leads Ardmore’s Infrastructure Group. His work has focused on significant transportation projects, building and stadium construction work and airport infrastructure. Weston has the ability to build highly effective teams. He is energetic, knowledgeable and able to communicate with clients, contractors, superiors and subordinates.



Michael A. Houston, CCM, LEED AP BD & C

Vice President of Institutional Operations

Michael has more than 20 years of experience in construction management and leads Ardmore’s Institutional and Buildings Group. This challenging role allows him to concentrate his passion on managing the firm’s vertical projects – public buildings, educational facilities, commercial properties and hospitals and clinics. In his management position he provides operational leadership and relationship development among industry peers and clients.



Ronda Donahue-James

Vice President of Administration

Ronda is Vice President of Administration, where her responsibilities include managing the everyday business administration and personnel matters of Ardmore Associates. Other responsibilities include managing the firm’s finances and accounting operations and human resources. Ronda has over 20 years of corporate business management experience.



Julie Hodgson

Business Development Director

Julie has over 25 years of experience in a variety of inside sales and business development positions for national and global engineering consulting firms. She is a graduate of University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Julie is taking the lead in defining Ardmore in the market place as Ardmore grows and evolves by expanding our client base in Illinois and establishing Ardmore in new geographic areas. Jodi Kimball

Business Development Specialist- Champaign, Illinois office

Jodi works out of our Central Illinois office where she is in charge of Business Development. Jodi has lived in Central Illinois her entire life and is currently residing in Mahomet, Illinois. She graduated from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. Jodi is knowledgeable about the construction industry and enjoys meeting with Central Illinois organizations to fulfill their Construction Management and Inspection needs. jkimball@ardmoreassociates.com
