Jefferson Street Corridor Water Main Improvements – Phase I

The Jefferson Street Water Main Project involved the replacement of older ductile iron water main pipes along Jefferson Street between York Road and Church Road. The existing 8” water main was replaced with a 12” PVC main, complete with service connections to existing residence valve boxes, new fire hydrants and stub outs on adjacent streets for future phases of the project. The existing 8” main was abandoned in place. Jefferson Street and the fully inspected and tested watermain were brought to full restoration within the time and budget parameters.

Jefferson Street Corridor Water Main Improvements – Phase II

The Jefferson Street Water Main Project involves replacement of older ductile iron water main pipes on Miner, Barron, Mason and Center Streets from Jefferson Street to Washington Street. The existing 6” water main was replaced with a 8” PVC main, complete with service connections to existing residence valve boxes, new fire hydrants and connections to the existing main at intersecting streets. The existing 6” main was abandoned in place. Jefferson Street and parkways including fully inspected and tested watermain were brought to full restoration within the time and budget parameters.
